If I were you, I wouldn't buy Liz lisa from eBay or any other site in the US.
If you really love the outfit, and you think you really need them, then make sure to ask the sellers these questions:
1) When and where did you get it from?
-This question is really important, because you would able to see whether they want to scam on you or not. I always ask this question to sellers, even I'm buying non Liz lisa related products. Some seller would make up non-sense stories, saying that: "I got this dress from the store in my town." Remember, Liz lisa is from Japan, and "regular" American clothing stores wouldn't be selling clothing from Liz lisa.
Some seller might say that they bought the outfit from other American seller, and the previous seller have told them that it's authentic. If they says this, then don't buy the item. There is a chance that the clothing is a fake.
What if they tells you that they were the ones who bought the clothing from Liz lisa online/offline store? It's simple. Ask them whether they have tags or not.
Some sellers would keep the tags just in case if they needs to re-sell the clothing.
If they do, it's great. Ask them to take picture of the tag, and send a picture to you.
Fake tags are different from authentic Liz lisa tags.
I have ordered few fake Liz lisa outfits from taobao, which is Chinese online market.
Since the difference between fake tag and authentic tag is clear, you won't have much trouble with figuring out whether the product is fake or not.
If they tells you that they don't have tags, remember, there is a chance that the clothing is fake. So be careful.
2) How much was the original price?
-This might help you to see whether the seller is being honest with you or not.
If you know the original price, then it's great! If the seller says simply "I don't remember" or tell you a wrong price, the chance is that the seller is lying to you.
Just say "no thank you" and leave.
3) Can you take close pictures of the outfit, and send the pictures to me?
-This can be a frightening question for dishonest sellers. Some would give you unreasonable answers, such as: "I don't have a camera to take picture," "unfortunately my phone is broken, so I can't take picture of it," or "Are you doubting me?"
If they give you any response that's listed above, I would recommend you to stay away from these sellers.
If they are truly being honest, why can't they just show pictures to you?
4) Is it possible for me to return the outfit if the outfit is a fake?
-I would have to say this is the most important question that you have to ask to the seller. If seller feels confident, they would say yes, and they would give you a full refund. But if they says that they can't promise you or they can't, then if I were you, I would just forget about it.
I think these questions would help you to avoid
It's really simple and easy to find out whether the person is being honest or not, since Liz lisa is not American brand.
